In this episode of 1337 Wine TV, Mark interviews three people from the Winemakers’ Dinner at the Westin La Cantera here in San Antonio held on Thursday, May 17th, 2012. This event was part of the Culinaria San Antonio week. Featured in this episode are Stephanie Putnam, winemaker at Raymond Vineyards; Steven Krueger, Sommelier at Francesca’s at Sunset (the restaurant at the Westin); and Ernie Estrada, Chef at Francesca’s at Sunset.

Several wines from Raymond Vineyards were paired with a great selection of food. Also paired were wines from Becker Vineyards, a Texas winery near Fredericksburg. Favorite wine of the evening was the Raymond Vineyards Merlot, however I enjoyed all of the wines, included the Becker Vineyards Mourvedre Rosé “Provençal”.
