ProWein 2019 Day Two – Episode #447

Browse By

In this special episode of 1337 Wine TV, Mark visits one of the largest wine trade shows in the world – ProWein in Düsseldorf, Germany. This is his first visit to the “trade fair” as they call it. In this episode he sits down with Johannes Haart of Reinhold Haart. Besides making some spectacular wines, this winery was founded in, you guessed it, 1337 🙂 Mark also tastes some other great German wines along with other wines from other parts of the world.

Weingut Reinhold Haart

Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler – a German wine producer Mark got to sit down with and taste a lot of wines. Founded in 1556.

Winabis – A Cannabis infused wine from Spain. They also make other “colored” wines.

Coravin – I absolutely love this product. It’s been a life saver for my reviews and has enabled me to to 4-6 review shows in one sitting without having to worry about drinking all the review wines within 4-5 days. I’m grateful they replaced my original Coravin at NO CHARGE recently.

Domaine de la Muraz – A Swiss wine I tasted.

Domaine de Crochet – Another Swiss wine I tasted. I had some more Swiss wines, but they don’t have websites.

Witwe Dr. H. Thanisch Erben Müller-Burggraef – This is the “other” Dr. Thanisch. The are both Dr. H. Thanisch and their labels are almost exactly the same. The “erben” part is what separates them. They have the larger holding of The Doctor vineyard.

M. Chapoutier – An iconic producer from the Rhône specifically, but they have other holdings in southern France, including Bila Haut.

Underground Cellar – https://www.undergroundcellar.com – Use my referral code “1337Wine” to give me a $25 credit to buy wine from them!
