I continue my mini-tour of Texas wineries from Labor Day week. I get to sit down with a long overdue interview with Ron Yates, owner of Spicewood Vineyards. Ron is someone I’ve known for a long time, but I’ve never been able to make the time to do an interview. I finally fixed that this past September. Another lengthy interview since we both love to talk and Ron pulls out seven wines for us to taste. Get comfortable with your favorite Spicewood Vineyards wine, or a Texas wine, or just any wine, and hear from one of the veterans of the Texas wine industry.
