A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to conduct a video Skype interview with Jim Schleckser, author of the book Professional Drinking. I spent a couple weeks reading the book on my breaks and lunches at my “day job.” It’s a great book for those who are not in the industry but find themselves in situations where they need to pick the right wine for the situation they are in while entertaining clients. It is also a good read for those of us who ARE sommeliers to remind us who and what we are, and what our guests and customers are experiencing.
