In this special episode of 1337 Wine TV, Mark sits down with Neal Newsom and Simon Thompson of Newsom Vineyards – one of the iconic vineyards in Texas and also one of the pioneers in grape growing. The interview was conducted after spending couple days (mostly late afternoon and evenings) with Neal and Simon visiting the vineyards, sharing meals, stargazing, and enjoying wines made from the vineyards. They were at Neal’s B&B called the Rock’n N Bed and Breakfast. It is a wonderful place to stay in the area and highly recommended. The hospitality from the Newsoms was second to none.
