In this episode of Wine World TV, I get to sit down with Pierangelo Tommasi, President of Famiglie Storiche and Executive Director of Tomassi Family Estates. As I mention at the beginning of the video, I mistakenly referred to Peirangelo and Giancarlo Pierangelo. Pretty embarrassing on my part, but Pierangelo was very gracious about it when I apologized to him. We talk about the purpose of the group’s visit to the U.S. and his winery. The Famiglie Storiche is a group of 13 historic Amarone producers and they were promoting this amazing style of wine from the Verona area the the Veneto region of Italy.
